 How it works:

  • To reserve an Adventure Pass, you must be at least 18 years old and have a 50115 mailing address. You can book the pass online at [Click Here to Book] or by calling the library at 641-747-8110.
  • The pass allows entry for up to 2 adults and 2 children at both the Zoo and the Science Center. For the Children's Museum, the pass covers 4 people, and children under one year old can enter for free.
  • Please note the following guidelines:
    • Family members cannot reserve passes simultaneously. If additional tickets are needed, they can be purchased at the gate.
    • Cardholders are allowed to reserve a pass for each venue only once every 365 days.
    • Patrons MUST bring a printed version of the pass.
    • Passes are valid only for the date indicated on the pass.
    • The individual named on the pass must be present when redeeming it. Please do not send someone else, such as a nanny or grandparent, with the pass.
    • To reserve a free Adventure Pass, you must reside in Guthrie Center or rural Guthrie Center and possess an active Mary J Barnett Memorial Library card.
    • You can register for a library card on our website or in person at the library.
    • For Blank Park Zoo, each Adventure Pass can be redeemed throughout the entire day for which you sign up.
