Search engines are a fine place to start a search of the Internet, but often the results are unsatisfactory. Besides, the Internet isn't the only place to find information. Our library has gathered together some great resources for you to use to find the information you need.


  • Use EBSCOhost to find magazine articles.
  • Use Iowa Locator or WorldCat to find books, CDs, DVDs and other items in libraries
  • Use HealthInfoIowa to start your search for health information
  • Use Shenandoah Public Library to view Heritage Quest Online to find genealogy information.  Contact library to receive bar code.
